Now, it’s almost end of the story. After Kathleen had dinner with Carson and his family, she went back to home and she found her mother was lying on the floor with no breath. Later, an ambulance came and pick her mother’s up to bring at hospital.
When I read this, it reminds me when I was about 7 years old. On that time, my grandfather had cancer and there was no way to cure it. He was allowed to stay at home because he said he wanted to stay at home as much as he can. And one day, I don’t really know what happened to my grandfather because I was sleeping in the morning but the siren of ambulance woke me up. I ran to the front door of my house and I saw the ambulance with red-light. Then my grandfather was carried into the car. It was really scary for me and I couldn’t stop thinking what if my grandfather would die. So I can feel the way Kathleen felt when her mother had carried by the ambulance. I hope no one has like that experience and will not have same experience with me and Kathleen. However, if you face to that situation, I want you to stand with it.

Fortunately, I have never had such a experience before. But I can feel your scary. I know it's really scary for everyone to lose important stuffs or people. Last year, I had stomachache while I was in a car and I had difficulties to stand it. And as soon as the car got to my apartment, i rushed into elevator and pushed bottom which shows 6th floor. The door was opened, I dashed to my house as fast as I could and tried to found the key. But it didn't come out! Suddenly I recall I forgot the key on that day. And then, I understood that it's really scary to lose something important to you, no matter what.
In your response you made a personal connection between the story and your own experience. I really liked the way you started the narrative of your experience. You were "showing" rather than "telling." The siren woke you from your sleep. You went to the window. The red light was flashing. I could feel the dread that you felt in your heart. I really wished you had kept telling the story. How many people carried your grandfather to the ambulence? How were they dressed? What expressions did they wear?
